On May 29, 2025, The Play Miami transformed into a high energy runway experience as Straight Walk Runway hosted a sold out fashion showcase that blended fashion, music, culture, and purpose. What unfolded was more than a show. It was a full circle moment, a homecoming, and a powerful reminder of what happens when creativity meets intention.
More Than a Runway — A Movement
Founded by Shereena Delgado, Straight Walk Runway continues to redefine what fashion shows look and feel like. This Miami Swim Week showcase centered confidence, storytelling, and unapologetic self expression. Every walk, look, and performance carried meaning.
The room was filled with creatives, tastemakers, influencers, and supporters of the culture, with over 60% of attendees representing the content creation and influencer space. The energy was undeniable, and the atmosphere felt electric from start to finish.
The Designers Who Set the Tone
The runway featured four standout collections, each representing a distinct creative voice and vision:
- StayFly Gear by Ree – A New York based streetwear brand delivering bold, elevated looks with undeniable edge.
- 2 UNIQUE Boutique – Fashion forward, curated pieces designed to stand out and command attention.
- Mike Stallings Collection – A special collection by celebrity fashion stylist Mike Stallings, known for styling some of the biggest names in entertainment and fashion.
- My Exotic Treasures – An Atlanta based brand bringing sultry, statement making designs that turned heads and owned the runway.
“These collections are powerful, fresh, and rooted in individuality. They speak to where fashion is going,” shared founder Shereena Delgado.

The fusion of live music and runway brought an added layer of emotion and movement, turning the show into a full sensory experience.
A Personal Homecoming
For Delgado, this moment carried deep personal meaning.
“I was born and raised in Miami, raised in Wynwood. This city built me, shaped me, and gave me my foundation. I’ve spent over a decade in New York building my business, but this is a passion project. I’m coming home to build something new on my roots a platform that uplifts models, creators, and local businesses. This is personal.”
That intention was felt throughout the night, from the runway to the crowd.
